Next is protection of the skin from direct rays of the sun. It is recommended that you wear a good quality sunscreen whenever you happen to go out in the sun. The SPF in the sunscreen is the deciding factor. The time you spend out in the sun is the yardstick. If you happen to remain exposed to direct heat of the sun for longer than 3 hours, you would need a sunscreen with SPF 50. If on the contrary the time you spend in the sun is not as long as 2 hours, a sunscreen with SPF 15 or 20 will do.

Also, just don’t try to be a skincare expert. If you are one, it’s okay but if you aren’t please stop self examining your skin. You need to see an esthetician who can guide you well according to your problem.
